We’re looking for a reliable, professional person to join our team as a Vehicle Safety Inspector servicing Mount Isa and surrounding areas.
No automotive experience is required. We provide all training, equipment and ongoing support.
About the Role
You’ll conduct visual vehicle safety inspections at locations across Mount Isa and nearby areas, identifying and removing potential hazards before vehicles are returned to the community.
This is independent, flexible work that suits someone who enjoys getting out and about rather than sitting behind a desk.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct visual vehicle safety inspections.
- Identify, remove and report potential hazards.
- Travel to customer sites throughout Mount Isa and surrounding areas.
- Complete inspections using our easy smartphone app.

What you’ll need:
- Available Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Smartphone.
- Ability to work independently.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
No previous inspection or automotive experience is required.
Full training, equipment and ongoing support are provided.
